“Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” will be coming to theaters as three separate movies. This series marks the final chapter of the popular anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
The trilogy of films, covering the Infinity Castle arc, will be shown globally in theaters. Streaming platform Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will handle distribution worldwide, except in certain Asian regions like Japan. Rahul Purini, President of Crunchyroll, expressed excitement about bringing these films to fans on the big screen, describing it as a significant cultural event.
Based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge, “Demon Slayer” has gained immense popularity since its debut in 2018, with over 150 million copies of the manga sold. The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to save his sister from a demon’s curse.
The anime series first premiered in April 2019 and has since seen several successful releases, including the highly acclaimed film “Mugen Train,” which set records as the highest-grossing anime movie and Japanese film globally. The latest arcs, “To the Swordsmith Village” and “To the Hashira Training,” have also been well-received.
Fans can enjoy “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” on streaming platforms like Crunchyroll and Netflix in India.
